Why Eco?

Why Eco Insulation?
Eco Insulation provides a number of benefits. Our cellulose fiber insulation is made from recycled wood fiber, traps air within the fibers to provide far superior insulating properties.

Unlike standard fiberglass insulation, cellulose insulation is blown in the spaces where insulation is needed, providing complete coverage by flowing around pipes, wiring, cracks and corners. We can even add it over fiberglass insulation.

Energy Efficient
The benefit that most interests people is the energy efficiency boost they get from Eco Insulation. The cellulose fibers actually block air filtration which prevents heat transfer, keeping your internal temperatures more consistent.

Our cellulose fiber insulation actually improves during extreme temperatures.

Fire Retardant
Our insulation is one of the safest materials for home construction. The structure of the fibers is so dense that flames and hot gases are blocked, preventing the spread of fire past insulated areas.

Sound Suppression
Another added benefit of our insulation is its ability to block sound. External noise as well as internal noise from things such as plumbing are dulled by the dense cellulose fibers.

Environmentally Friendly
80% of the cellulose fiber used for our insulation is made from recycled materials. Therefore we are not using up all new natural resources as raw materials or in the manufacturing process.

Non-Toxic
Our insulation does not contain any harmful toxins or carcinogens such as urethane, formaldehyde, or asbestos that can commonly be found in many other household construction materials.

Pest and Mold Deterrent
One final benefit of our insulation is that it acts as a deterrent to both pests and mold. Rodents and cockroaches both find the cellulose fiber insulation an inhospitable environment, deterring them from nesting in it.

Additionally, the cellulose fiber insulation is an inhospitable environment to mold, which prevents the growth and spread of the fungus.

Eco Insulation provides cellulose insulation services in the Quad Cities area including Davenport, Bettendorf, Eldridge, Dewitt, Muscatine, Long Grove, Le Claire, Clinton, and Parkview. Cellulose insulation services are also available in Illinois in areas such as Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Milan, Silvis, Hampton, and Port Byron.
